Except none of it is real.

There’s no heavy cotton. No belt coming undone halfway through a round. No lapel for someone to grab while they explain, physically, that your black belt does not extend to wrestling.

It’s a rash guard dressed as a gi.

Wear it because you earned the belt.

Or because you enjoy looking alarmingly qualified.
